Nick Francis – President and Marketing
Director
Primarily
responsible for sales and marketing, Nick has been in Medical Software and
Billing Agent (service bureau) sales for over 20 years. He has the
knowledge, integrity and long term commitment to ensure you are happy
with your product or services – both today and tomorrow.
A graduate from the
University of Toronto (Commerce and Sociology), Nick has taken
programming courses both at University and Community College as well as
sales and marketing courses from IBM, Bell Canada, Honeywell and many
others. Nick volunteers his
time for many community and charitable causes and his expertise was
recognized by his appointment to the Council of Science and Technoloy
Advisors (CSTA), a Blue Ribbon committee providing expert external advice
to the Federal government on issues of Science and Technology.
Gerd Richter – VP Systems and
development
Primarily
responsible for software and technical services, Gerd has worked in
Software development and Service Bureau management for some 30 years
having started at IBM before spending many years in his own business
ventures. An expert system
designer, Gerd joined PCI in 1995 and oversees both it’s MS VB, Foxpro,
Access and Palm O/S development and implementation.
A P.Eng., holding an
Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, Gerd, has
designed and implemented systems from mainframes to PC’s and now hand
held computers.
Stan Francis – Special projects Director
Primarily
responsible for special projects and strategic advice to the Board,
Stan previously held senior
management positions in a distinguished career. He is a proven leader in product Marketing and
Operations in Multinational Corporations I.C.L., General Electric, RCA
and Unisys (formerly Burroughs Business Machines) before turning
entrepreneur as president and majority shareholder of CSL from 1978 –
1988. He was the founding Chairman of ITAC’s Ontario Medical Office
Automation Group in 1991.
Stan’s experience and knowledge has been recognized with several
prestigious appointments including Chairing ITAC’s Tax Committee and
appointment to the Toronto Board of Trade’s (formerly Metropolitan
Toronto Board of Trade) sub-committee on race relations. His business
expertise and knowledge of the Health care sector was recognized by his
appointment to the Health Sector Strategy Group of the Ontario Government
Advisory Council on Computing in 1993.
He currently serves
on several Boards including 2 charitable foundations where he gives of his time
and money to help those less fortunate in the community and abroad.
